WorldMontana Annual Meeting 2016
On April 23, 2016, we held our annual meeting at Plymouth Congregational Church with over 50 people in attendance. Attorney General Tim Fox, Executive Director Ellen Bush and Board President William MacBride spoke to welcome the gathering, followed by the election of new officers. David Huang was elected as Board Vice President and Jeanette Fregulia and Pat Murdo were welcomed as new board members. Doug Young, WorldMontana Treasurer presented a brief report, followed by William MacBride’s President’s Report. International foods from around the world were served and enjoyed by our members. After a brief break for international foods, Ellen Bush and Sasha Fendrick presented a PowerPoint with photographs highlighting WorldMontana programs. We then heard an update from Board Member Stephen Maly about refugee education, and we adjourned at 2:00 PM. Until next year!

Give Local Helena is a 24 hour online giving event organized by the Helena Area Community Foundation
The purpose of Give Local Helena is to raise money for the hundreds of nonprofit organizations in Helena, Montana.
As a nonprofit organization, WorldMontana relies on donations and support from its members to function. Our State Department grant each April only covers half of our costs, so ANY size donation is greatly appreciated! All donations to nonprofit organizations during Give Local Helena are tax-deductable to the fullest extent of the law.
