Carroll College had the honor of hosting a group of Japanese students for two weeks through ACCESS, an international student exchange program.  The Japanese students had the opportunity to learn about WorldMontana in a presentation by Executive Director, Sasha Fendrick and Board member, Ron Lukenbill. On another day WorldMontana took the students to BisonQuest Guest Ranch to experience a wild Montana bison herd. At the end of the visit, the Japanese students sat down to a meal that they had cooked alongside the Ranch staff.

During the first week of March, six to tour the capital and meet with Governor Steve Bullock and the head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. During their visit, they sat down with members of the Montana Legislature and attended a variety of legislative committee meetings. During a visit to Carroll College, the Kyrgyzstani legislators met with faculty and students in the Political Science department. Additionally, they visited Fort Harrison and took tours of Montana ranches, including a bison reserve and the Rockin Z Guest Ranch.
