Youth Ambassador Program 2016

Megan Lamach, a 16-year-old sophomore at Capital High School in Helena, Montana, has been selected as a Youth Ambassador to spend three weeks in Brazil. She will participate in workshops and work with Brazilian students and mentors. The Youth Ambassadors Program is conducted by World Learning and funded by the United States Department of State and United States Embassy in Brazil. Megan is looking forward to participating in the program and will be gone from April 23 – May 14.

Refugee Resettlement

WorldMontana recently held an informational meeting on potential refugee resettlement in Montana. Going forward we have invited a delegation from Boise Idaho to come to Helena to present on the best practices involving refugee resettlement. The delegation is tentatively expected this April.
