WorldMontana became an important part of the international student community at Carroll College.

Thanks to the WorldMontana International Students Club was brought back to life in September 2024. NISO (National and International Students Organization, Carroll College) held its first meeting of the year, attended by 30 people. People got to know each other, played a game of guessing the country by a song, discussed plans, and chose new leadership. Ayesha (Pakistan) commented: “The event organized by NISO was engaging and fun. It provided a good platform for the international and national students at Carroll to get to know each other. The games planned were entertaining. The pizza was a hit!” Henry (USA) added: “In addition to bringing together all the international students and other NISO members in a fun environment, the meeting breathed new life into the club with new enthusiastic leadership.”
WorldMontana also helped students to travel and see Montana’s most beautiful parts. Starting on Sept 20th and through Sept 22nd, NISO went to Glacier Park, MT. It was one of the biggest trips NISO had ever organized! Students had a hike, fire camp, lake, hot dogs, and s’mores. Camille (France) commented: “I really enjoyed this trip to Glacier, the 2 days were well organized and the activities were interesting.” Aidan (USA) shared: “I enjoyed showing the place I grew up around to people that have never seen it. Montana is so beautiful, and the foreign students really see that in Glacier. My favorite part is seeing wildlife: a bear and a fox, or hanging out on Flathead Lake watching the students jump in the water.”
Later, NISO held another dinner to bring even more people from the community together and allow people to try Georgian food. Jack (USA) said trying something he had never had before was good, and Levani (Georgia) was happy to share some of his culture.
WorldMontana got to connect with students and talk about events they could do together.
